Planning Storyboard for my Gatorade Commercial




Below I will explain what will go on in each scene of my commercial. 

Scene 1: The commercial will start with a close up of a Gatorade bottle sitting along on the floor the cold condensation dripping off will make the bottle stand out and seem powerful. This will show the audience what the product being advertised is without directly stating it. 

Scene 2: There will be a shallow focus of the shot with a figure working out in the background doing a footwork drill with the focus on the Gatorade bottle to still emphasize the product. This will show the context of what Gatorade is for.

Scene 3: The camera will then zoom past the Gatorade bottle and move the focus towards the person working out. To show the common beliefs of what Gatorade is made for, which is people who are hard-working, determined, and people who give it all they got.

Scene 4: The camera will then cut to the girl drinking the Gatorade that was sitting on the bench. She will be refreshed and the camera will slowly zoom in as you see her but the bottle down and return to working hard with the energy and electrolytes she just received.

Scene 5: The shot will then completely zoom in on the bottle and then zooms out onto a different bottle to create a seamless transition from shot to shot.

Scene 6: The new bottle is being held by someone and is then placed on a bench. 

Scene 7: Then the scene will then pan and zoom into someone hitting on a tee into a net with the softball bat. During this shot, the camera will be panning to the right along with the bat and slowing pulling out just in time to see the ball being hit. This will show that Gatorade is used before and after working hard and is meant to fuel the hard work people do. 

Scene 8: The next scene will zoom into the bat and zoom out with a glove framed in the middle with a ball flying towards the glove and camera. To demonstrate another thing Gatorade helps fuel and that Gatorade keeps you running through all your activities.

Scene 9: The camera will then track past the clove and tilt up. Then a basketball is thrown into the air and as it's in the air it will change from multiple sports balls. This is expressing that Gatorade fuels all activities and sports.

Scene 10: The commercial will then cut to three different Gatorade bottles. To show the product one final time before ending.

Comparing 9, The Short, and 9, The Full Length Movie

Comparing 9, The Short ,and 9, The Full Length Movie Short Film  Today I watched the short film 9. This is a seven-minute-long animated short film. I really enjoyed watching this short film. The characters were really unique. I honestly liked the rag doll's appearance of some and the robotic appearance of others. The setting was also very unique and cool. It had a post-apocalyptic feel and somewhat reminded me of Wall-e. The sound is what really made an impact on me most though. There was no dialogue in the short film. The only sound really heard is diegetic and score. The lack of sound helped set the mood of the short film a lot. It made moments feel more scary and suspenseful. The sound of the robotic spider characters made me feel as if I was inside the film. The plot was interesting too. The main character is a rag doll-like with a 9 on its back. 9 seems to have had a mentor or a friend in the past. 9's friend has the same appearance but with a 5 instead of on its back. The...
