 Gatorade Commercial CCR


   1.  My commercial targets the social group of the hardworking athlete. The product is meant to be used by athleats to push them to do better so the commercial is targeted to them because it is a drink to better their performance. It challenges the conventions that usually athelets just drink water during workouts. Gatorade the product in the commercial challenges the idea the water suffices during a workout by showing Gatorade is better because it pushes you to be better.  Every athlete wants to perform their best and seeing that Gatorade does that they will be more anticed to buy it. 

2. My product would be distributed to the public through commercial ads between programs. Perferably it would be in commercial between sports games because sport lovers and athelets will most likely be the audience for the program and that is the group my product targets. The group my commercial targets has the highest propaility to be watching at that time so I am getting my product the most amount of exposure to the people. My product engages the audience by showing that its refreshing after a workout and by showing the ausidence in a very dramatic and appealing way that Gatorade pushes you to keep going and never stop. 

3. My production skill developed becuase as I took it shot from shot my angles and zoom started getting better and better. The main area I improved in is editing. From my last project my editing skills were not as strong as strong as they were in this current one. I learned many new things such as how to input sound over my clips and how slow down and speed up clips for the dramatic affect I wanted to get from the commercial. Another thing that made my commercial the way it was was changing the color by adding filters and changing saturation of the film. This got the commercial to no look as homelike and more like a real commercial.

4. I integrated technologies throughout the whole project. I mainly used it when I was transferring my clips from program to program. I started by using my phone to record all the takes. Then I had to transfer all the shots I had done on my phone when filming onto the editing software on my tablet. I used the editing software and after I finished editing I uploaded it onto youtube. From there I shared it to my blog and it uploaded to my blog. I had to use different software and technological devises to do the whole thing.

  All About Me     Hi, my name is Vanessa Gilbert and I am a sophomore this year at Fort Lauderdale Highschool. I live at home with my mom and dad, and I have a sister who lives in college. Comparing 9, The Short, and 9, The Full Length Movie

Comparing 9, The Short ,and 9, The Full Length Movie Short Film  Today I watched the short film 9. This is a seven-minute-long animated short film. I really enjoyed watching this short film. The characters were really unique. I honestly liked the rag doll's appearance of some and the robotic appearance of others. The setting was also very unique and cool. It had a post-apocalyptic feel and somewhat reminded me of Wall-e. The sound is what really made an impact on me most though. There was no dialogue in the short film. The only sound really heard is diegetic and score. The lack of sound helped set the mood of the short film a lot. It made moments feel more scary and suspenseful. The sound of the robotic spider characters made me feel as if I was inside the film. The plot was interesting too. The main character is a rag doll-like with a 9 on its back. 9 seems to have had a mentor or a friend in the past. 9's friend has the same appearance but with a 5 instead of on its back. The...
