 Creating the Website


    I and my group created a website for our short film. The website would be a form of advertisement for our film. Before even starting to create our website we knew the basics of how we wanted our website to appear. We wanted it to look clean and modern while also keeping the dull color pallet that was in our postcard. At first, I entered the information into our film and let the website maker create an outline. When the outline was created I realized that it didn't really look like so keeping some things the same we began to edit our website. I started by adding the essential information. This included the name of the film, synopsis, production company, location of the film, showing dates, showing times, and other information. After having all of the information we then continued to focus on the appearance of the website. We broke up the information into categories that were tabs on the website. Starting with the first tab we added the name of the film when it was gonna be released, and our contact information. The contact information also included links to our social media. We all agreed that this was important information that should be there right when you go to watch the film. At the top of all the pages but seen on the cover is also the name of the production company and the logo for our film. I created a logo for the film to add a personal touch to the website. On the next tab, there is a synopsis of the film and a quote from the postcard about our movie. We added the quote and synopsis on one page because we assumed the quote would spark interest to read the synopsis and the synopsis will keep viewers interested. The next tab is about me and my group and our roles in the production of Wednesday Drive. The next tab was where viewers can watch this film. This included the film festival name, location, time, and dates. Next to this was a logo for the Manners Film Festival that I created just to add a little more customization to our website. On the last tab of our website in the movie, we added our reviews for our film.

  All About Me     Hi, my name is Vanessa Gilbert and I am a sophomore this year at Fort Lauderdale Highschool. I live at home with my mom and dad, and I have a sister who lives in college. I love all animals, and in addition to my family members, I have a dog names biscuit and two cats named rainbow and teddy who live at the house and are basically family. Comparing 9, The Short ,and 9, The Full Length Movie Short Film  Today I watched the short film 9. This is a seven-minute-long animated short film. I really enjoyed watching this short film. The characters were really unique. I honestly liked the rag doll's appearance of some and the robotic appearance of others. The setting was also very unique and cool. It had a post-apocalyptic feel and somewhat reminded me of Wall-e. The sound is what really made an impact on me most though. There was no dialogue in the short film. The only sound really heard is diegetic and score. The lack of sound helped set the mood of the short film a lot. It made moments feel more scary and suspenseful. The sound of the robotic spider characters made me feel as if I was inside the film. The plot was interesting too. The main character is a rag doll-like with a 9 on its back. 9 seems to have had a mentor or a friend in the past. 9's friend has the same appearance but with a 5 instead of on its back. The...
