Script Blog




This was my and my group's script for our short film. When writing the script it took a couple tries because when reading the script we could tell the vision we had for the short film wasn't fully portrayed. So after some well-needed re-writing and editing, we came up with this final script we feel fully portrays the vision.

 Editing Audio     Today we edited the audio for our short film. Previously we had already ordered and edited the film clips so now it was time to get into closer detail, specifically audio. We started off by going through each shot and deciding if the audio had to be present or not. Some of the shots were a little to quite so while going through them if their was dialogue that needed to be heard we would turn up the volume for that specific shot. While doing this some were a little difficult to figure out because on the scenes that had dialogue we know we needed the audio but other scenes we couldn’t figure out if the audio would be needed or not. This was difficult to figure out because we didn’t know if the background noise of the scene would seem natural or odd. Introduction to the Music Video Project

 Introduction to the Music Video Project     Throughout this whole project, I will be working on my own with help from family to record. All the ideas will come from me but I do need the help of others to execute them. Although other people will be recording for me I will be telling them how to do the shot and at what angle to do it. I am choosing to work by myself because I believe that it is a better way of working on this project. It is easier because I can do the project on my own time and what is best for me because I am the only one I have to consider. This is a lot easier, especially because we are in a time of mainly online learning. If I tried to do it with a group especially considering I'm not the closest to anyone in class it would be hard to meet up and record everything needed.
